God-Self

The 3 Realms of Creative Potential

People have access to, and always create from, one of three planes of potential: the physical realm, the mental realm, and the spiritual realm. The spiritual realm is the place of highest possibility, the mental realm is the middle, and the physical realm is the lowest.

Creating from the physical realm only dictates that we follow basic animal instincts, thus is the most limited realm.

Creating from the mental realm exponentially increases results because you have engaged a higher engine, which is the mind, and combined it with the chassis of the body. You are not only working hard (physical) but you are also working smart.

Creating from the spiritual realm is a quantum leap unlike any other. It combines all three realms; working hard and smart but driven by the indefatigable power of the God-self.

The God-Self provides us with an amazing aspiration to succeed because Soul Purpose is the thing you already most love to do. H2O can be seen as ice, water, or steam depending on the intensity of its molecular speed. Similarly, the human being can be physical, mental, or spiritual depending on the intensity of aspiration to succeed.

Careful study of the following chart will illustrate the enormous difference between the potential results in productivity that are possible when creating from the spiritual realm:

Realm State Ethic Essence Process Style Model
Spiritual God-Self Work Mission Soul Being Creative Interdependent
Mental Ego-Self Work Smart Mind Thinking Proactive Independent
Physical Animal-Self Work Hard Body Doing Reactive Dependent

Exponential Growth in the Spiritual Realm

From my research, one year of physical work can create enough value for others to generate twenty thousand dollars of income. One year of working in the mental realm may create enough value for others to earn two hundred thousand dollars of income. One year spent working from the spiritual realm of Soul Purpose can easily generate two million dollars.

Notice the ten times exponential growth that can occur due to the phenomenal leap in power as one transcends from the physical to the mental to the spiritual realm.

To illustrate this point, consider a construction worker who makes his living at the level of the physical realm. He uses his body to make a living, and while it is honest, honorable work, this career has limited pay and longevity potential. He works "hard," but after a while his sore body, lack of creative input, and limited pay make him eventually feel stuck in his body. He is discontented.

Deciding he wants to earn more, he chooses to work "smart," and changes careers to one that uses his mind—let’s say he chooses a career as a financial planner. He has shifted realms of power from the physical to the mental, into a higher realm of potential in which pay and longevity are greatly increased. Financial planners have been known to work well into their eighties, and some earn millions of dollars a year.

He begins studying the stock market and financial trade magazines and enrolls in night school to eventually get a degree as a Certified Financial Planner. Five years later he has a thriving book of business, and looks back in amazement at his old salary of $20,000 a year in construction compared to his current salary of $200,000 a year as a financial planner. He has used his mind as the way out of the limitations innate to the physical realm, but may have unknowingly adopted the belief that the mind is the way out of every dilemma.

While he is earning more, he has reached a false ceiling in his productivity, is overweight, unhappy, and argues with his wife and/or kids. Why? He has now become stuck in his mind. The quandary of the mental realm is that the mind convinces you that it is the pinnacle of human existence. Everyone stuck in the mental realm secretly believes his beliefs are right and superior to others. That which was once the way out, has become the next impediment to be transcended.

Transcend the Mind

One of my coaching clients once found himself in a dilemma similar to the above story. By committedly doing his spiritual disciplines, he created unique products and services that are now generating in excess of two million dollars yearly. You have the exact same potential.

But if you aren’t experiencing greater prosperity it is most likely because you're trapped in the mind. As such, you do not have direct access to your Soul Purpose. In fact, so many people are trapped in their mind that they don’t even believe the soul exists, much less has a purpose.

To begin awakening to your Soul purpose, start by seeing yourself as the spirit in the body who has a mind, but is not the mind.

The 12 Soul Purpose Enlightened Ethics

1. Seek Truth

Through awareness we can ascertain Truth by seeing that specific behaviors (solution-focus, integrity, value creation) function in creating joy, health and wealth - while the opposite behaviors (problem-focus, blaming, deception) do not. Truth functions, falsehood does not.

2. Choose Love

Every moment, human beings are making one choice between two paradigms – fear or love. By choosing fear, our life joy and possibilities contract, but when we choose love, they expand.

3. Follow Passion

Written into your inner being are a naturally-occurring series of talents, gifts, strengths and passions. When these passions are recognized, developed and used to serve people, they create favorable conditions for peace, joy, health and wealth.

4. Clarify Intention

Without intention, life direction becomes muddled and unclear. Clear intentions focus the mind as does clarifying one’s goals and the decisive action necessary to achieve them. Universal creative energy follows intention.

5. Surrender Negativity

The ego continuously throws negative thoughts at us. As we learn to surrender them to our Higher Power whenever they arise, we recapture precious energy to be used in more productive ways.

6. Learn Lessons

Every seemingly negative mistake contains a positive lesson. When we program ourselves to focus our attention on the lesson, instead of on the mistake, we grow towards success.

7. Create Value

While it is important to positively visualize your dreams, success comes from positive actions, not wishful thinking. By focusing primarily on creating value for people, instead of making money, we maximize the potential for money to flow back to us. The execution of creating value is the action that creates prosperity; prosperity follows value.

8. Harmonize with Flow

Flow is Divine Order, and is the energy of life itself. Being in flow is accepting and harmonizing with all that comes your way, regardless of whether it is desired or not. Doing so creates favorable conditions to experience great bliss and inner peace.

9. Be Humble

Humility emanates a light of confidence that is contagious and attractive. It reveals the huge difference between confidence and arrogance. Repeat customers are drawn to confidence, and repelled by arrogance.

10. Plan for Success

Successful people have a success plan, unsuccessful people do not. When you have a roadmap to your destination, you know where you’re going: the mile markers become clear as does the path one needs to take.

11. Show Gratitude

When we express gratitude for the things we already have, we access a flow of energy that creates favorable conditions for powerful possibilities to consistently appear.

12. Practice Non-attachment

Attachments are the source of every pain a human being can encounter. Non-attachment is the ultimate form of caring in which we consciously free ourselves from outside forces causing pain. Once this habit is learned, we no longer waste the precious energy required to live the masterpiece life.
