3 reasons to be grateful all year around and how it supports optimal goal achievement
As we kick off November and all things thankful, I’m noticing my entrepreneurs somewhat scrounge and settle into the angst of end-of-year stress and holidays, etc. This got me thinking about how we can live into the both/and with the two concepts of gratefulness and goal achievement, breaking it down for my crazy busy business owners still striving to integrate all areas of their lives.

Q4 of '24...Ready to do this?
The last leg of 2024 is officially upon us and with that, I offer this quick and easy frame of mind.
We know setting annual goals are necessary in business, tracking is a must and how critical it is to properly plan or plan to fail.
Are you watching where you are going?
Are you watching where you are going?
Everyone’s been that person where you’re on a walk and for whatever reason, you are not paying attention, and you trip on the tree root sticking out of the ground, or uneven pavement. You stumble, you might even fall. But unless you seriously got hurt, your next move is to do that quick look around and then get up. Who’s been there?
Time is a non-renewable resource
It is limited, and its' availability will eventually run out. Yikes, harsh right? Though I’m not telling you anything you don’t already know, as a coach, I am your mirror. I am the mirror that allows my clients to glance into and truly see what’s happening in the present moment. As the mirror, this helps foster a profound sense of self-awareness. Clients have space to recognize their reflections in others, an opportunity to introspect, analyze, and understand our behaviors and how we are showing up in the world and in our business.
A Key to Happiness...
Ready for a secret sauce? 🍝
Let people be who they are.
Okay, but what does that even mean?
Most of us don’t even recognize when we lean into our expectations of how people and experiences should look, it’s in accordance with what we believe.
Calling All Entrepreneurs
Calling all Entrepreneurs – did you know a key component of entrepreneurship is our ability to think critically, a skill often used when we aren’t even aware we’re doing it?!
Trust is the Currency of the 21st Century
And in business…it’s everything.
Trust is ultimately why we’re willing to exchange our hard-earned paychecks for goods and services, pledge our lives to another person in marriage, leave our most precious cargo (our kiddos) with babysitters, divulge our secrets and lean on family and friends when we’re going through tough times.

Taking Back Your Power
Encountering what we perceive to be someone’s “bad” behavior is inevitable. Parent, friend, colleague, entrepreneur, no matter what role we are playing at any given moment, we will inevitably face these perceived ‘bad’ behaviors. The KEY to owning our own reactions and actions is to know that we have a choice whether or not we want to fight lower with lower, or be the rising tide that lifts all boats. Shift the dynamic that allows the initial sting inflicted by the negative event, so it is not as painful, but more so an opportunity to invite others into a more loving/productive space.
Who we are Anywhere is Who we are Everywhere
For the longest time, I always prided myself on my ability to compartmentalize, especially because I work within the family business.

Stop shoulding allover yourself!
One big reason why I love our awareness assessment tool, Mindscan, is because it really uncovers how someone is showing up in the here and now, in time and space. Yes, certain patterns tend to show up no matter what, however, results are based on WHEN someone takes the assessment, therefore providing its participants with really awesome opportunities to shift in their being, doing and thinking.

Hard/Easy, Easy/Hard
Before we learn the disciplines, it’s critical that the “hard-easy/easy-hard” concept is understood.
“Hard-easy” refers to those things in life that initially appear to be difficult, yet in the long run they make life much easier and more enjoyable.
